Hotel. Bangui. CENTRAL AFRICAN REPUBLIC. Built 2013
In the city of Bangui, along the banks of the river Congo, a renovation is planned for a former Sheraton hotel consisting of a tower and a lower main body. During the preliminary planning a poticoed element is designed in order to complete the tower’s profile as well as a new glass façade that cancels out all the original terraces of the previous hotel. A large glass, double height hall is also designed unifying the two elements on the ground floor. Nature blends in around the building and the gardens are rejuvenated.
