Vilnius signs a 7-million-euro contract with Spain's Arquivio Architects, whose design for the new National Concert Hall in Vilnius, Lithuania won an earlier competition.

The complex will be built on top of Tauras Hill in place of the now-demolished Palace of Trade Unions.

The team of 10 architects has partnered up with Cloud Architektai, an architecture studio that has extensive design experience in Lithuania. The cost of the design includes an acoustic project to be carried out by Japan’s Nagata Acoustics.
