The remodelling project of one of the main squares in Alcorcon offers an adequate solution and easily merges with the on-going expansion of the City Hall. Although this square did not have the same importance as the nearby square, ‘Plaza de Espana’, it was soon to be merged with the remodelling of the City
Hall, becoming one of the main entrances to the building and resulting in a vital space of great importance to the city.
Therefore there were certain aspects that needed to be addressed such as finding the architectural quality in materials used , enhancement of the value of
such public spaces as urban l and marks , ensuring maximum accessibility and focusing on the economic credibility of the request as a whole.
