Hidalgo House

Interior. Madrid. SPAIN. Project 2010

The top floor of an old building built in Madrid in the 70’s is stripped completely within in order to simplify the
program. The idea is to generate a continuous space hosting a private lounge, a bed room and a small gym/spa.
The client’s goal is to create a warm and welcoming space us ing p ieces f rom h is collection and careful lighting.
To create this space, natural stone pieces were used th roughou t the home .
Additionaly, the furniture was made out of wood along with dark ceilings and the clients collection items such as
mirrors and pa in t ings .
The interior is complete with colored fabric to muffle the noise inside, and allow a simple color change.
