B-twin is a new model of health care centre that changes the way of the usual system of organization in nursing homes. It is made following certain criteria such as energy usage, environmental sustainability and integration with the urban environment. The building is situated within the limits of Ciudadela (an expanding area).
It is bound on the east with a green zone, to the south with the city and to the west and north with newly created
roads. A visual contact between the green area and the city is what we are trying to achieve. The building will be able to open onto both of these while having its back to the northeast protecting the interior of the complex from the summer heat.
