The project presented here emerges as a winner of a design competition organized by the Provincial Council of A Coruña for the construction of a sports facility dealing mainly with rowing and canoeing in the town of Minho.
The storage of boats in the foreground appears as reflected in the water tower, covered with wooden planks, which is crossed by rays of sun illuminating the interior during the day and reversing in the evening. This light emerges from the inside as a light box, as a landmark and reference for paddlers in the bay. This is divided into three levels in which the boats are being stored vertically, accessible through a system of walkways and raised by a small electric hoist.
