Single-family Housing. Bata. EQUATORIAL GUINEA. Built 2009
A set of white mixed aluminium volumes, each contrasting with green of the jungle and the beach sand. The hollow glass (floor to ceiling) receives sunlight and merges into the sea and at night shines as bright as candles. A line of clear water, which overflows and meets the horizon brings the house closer to the sea. The house is divided into two floors with flat roofs to accommodate solar installations without making them visible. The house has several patios that favour the lighting and ventilation of the rooms.
