Public buiding. Madrid. SPAIN. Contest 2008
The planned program was extremely ambitious and extensive. It was impossible to group everything onto one or two levels, which inevitably led to a building with three floors to be built. It was decided to group everything into three basic floors with different uses. However, this kind of building would be best suited as one floor. There is a “wet level” where the pool, the changing rooms, the wellness and physiotherapy centre are all found. The two remaining “dry levels” are where the sport fields, main entrance, offices and the restaurant is situated.
